PLAYGROUND collective performance at Four Cultures Festival, Lodz, Poland, 2019

The artists arrived in Lodz a week before the performance to get into city's life. The main thing was the feeling that this city of several cultures is desperately trying to escape from its difficult past. As always, such attempts create all sorts of tension that can fuel art. On the evening of September 13, the residents of Lodz were invited to the courtyard of city's Medical University to become spectators and participants of a collective performance which included the gaming understanding of the processes taking place in the urban space.

Художники прибыли в Лодзь за неделю до перформанса, чтобы влиться в его жизнь. Этот город нескольких культур отчаянно пытается вырваться из своего тяжелого прошлого. Как всегда, такие попытки создают разного рода напряжение, которым может подпитываться искусство. Вечером 13 сентября жители Лодзя были приглашены во двор городского Медицинского Университета, чтобы стать зрителями и участниками коллективного перформанса по игровому осмыслению процессов, происходящих в городском пространстве.
